Dennis has practiced law since 2000, and has achieved a great reputation among the courts and the legal community in New Mexico. He has been awarded the Silver Client Champion Award from Martindale Hubbell. Dennis is particularly well regarding among the bankruptcy court and bankruptcy legal community in New Mexico.
Dennis has devoted most of his practice to debtor/creditor law, and in particular representing debtors and creditors in the bankruptcy court. Most of his representation has focused on individuals and business needing debt relief under the bankruptcy code. Dennis has had success representing banks and landlords as well. Dennis also assists in the area of Family Law.
Dennis also represents businesses in disputes with the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department, as well as businesses or shareholders in litigation of other business disputes. His experience in representing banks and insurance companies enables him to advise businesses in reviewing transactions, and pursuing insurance claims.
In the course of his career representing individuals and businesses, Dennis has filed over 1300 bankruptcies covering Chapters 7, 11, and 13.
Dennis graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.A. in History and from the University of New Mexico School of Law.
