Every day, armed service members sacrifice their own time and risk their personal well-being for the sake of upholding our country’s most important interests. Whether they are a full-time enlisted soldier, a career commissioned officer, or a part-time reservist, all are called upon at some point to put themselves on the line for America.
We at New Mexico Financial & Family Law want to give something back. Veterans in our Albuquerque communities and throughout the country deserve not only our recognition but also our support. To do so, we pledge to dedicate $1,000 in scholarship money to veterans and their families currently attending or enrolling in higher education programs.
Anyone enrolled in an accredited university, college, or professional certification program and who has served in the armed forces is eligible to apply. The deadline for application for the given calendar year is November 30th. Winners are announced by December 31st, and funds are awarded in January for the following Spring semester.
Let us help say thank you for all that you have done. Review the eligibility criteria and scholarship details below, and then tell us your story in a short essay responding to the prompts.
